Creating and maintaining a safe and stimulating environment for young children
Teaching early childhood education classes 18 months - 3 years
Providing information to parents regarding child development and by engaging parents in child’s education process

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

having some experience working with small children
being warm and loving with a positive attitude and appreciation of children
having strong communication and interpersonal skills
being flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of all children and program requirements
having an ability to organize and reflect teaching goals and progress in documentation: lesson plans, assessments and evaluations
having an ability to engage children in developmentally appropriate ways (including addressing children at eye level, sitting with children on the floor, engaging children in play and conversation
having an ability to attend to daily tasks as an educator
